Tarot doesn’t need to feel overwhelming, secretive, or “only for the gifted.” At Awen Life, we approach tarot as a gentle practice of self-connection, a way to slow down, listen inward and meet the present moment with more honesty and care.
That’s why we created the Awen Life Tarot Card Series hub: a simple home for our free tarot education, linking you straight into the lessons on YouTube. It’s designed to be easy to follow, calming to return to and supportive whether you’re pulling your very first card or deepening a practice you’ve kept for years.

What you’ll find in the Tarot Card Series
The Awen Life tarot card series is built to help you learn tarot in a way that feels clear, grounded and lived-in not overly complicated, not full of jargon, and not centered on fear.
Inside the series, you’ll find lessons that help you:
- Understand the core meaning of each card (without memorising a hundred keywords)
- Notice the symbolism that matters and ignore what doesn’t
- Ask better questions so your readings feel more useful and honest
- Build confidence with simple spreads you can actually repeat
- Read in a way that supports your nervous system, calm, steady and kind
Awen Life tarot card series approach
Some tarot content online can feel intense: heavy predictions, fixed outcomes and dramatic interpretations. That can pull you out of your center. The Awen Life tarot card series is different.
We treat tarot as a tool for:
- Understanding the present
- Clarifying what you’re feeling (even when you can’t name it yet)
- Seeing your choices more clearly
- Strengthening your inner voice through practice, not pressure
In other words: tarot as reflection, not performance.
How to use the tarot card series
1, 2 & 3-Card Pulls (a calm way to begin)
One of the simplest ways to learn tarot and to actually use what you’re learning — is to practise with short pulls that meet you where you are. In the Awen Life tarot card series, we often return to I, II and III-card spreads because they’re gentle, repeatable, and surprisingly deep.
These pulls keep your practice grounded in the present moment. They don’t ask you to solve your whole life in one reading. They ask you to notice what’s here now — and what supports you next.
One-card pull (daily clarity)
Use this when you want a steady ritual that takes under five minutes.
Try one of these questions:
- What energy is with me today?
- What would support me right now?
- What is the most honest next step?
How to work with it:
Look at the card and name three things: (1) what you notice, (2) what you feel, (3) one practical action. Even a tiny action counts — a conversation, a boundary, a breath, a pause.
Two-card pull (balance + choice)
Use this when you feel stuck between two energies, two needs, or two directions.
Try:
- What I’m holding / What I’m ready to release
- The situation / The wiser response
- What drains me / What restores me
How to work with it:
Let the second card be the “medicine.” Tarot often shows us not just what’s happening, but what would create movement.
Three-card pull (a simple map)
Use this when you want a little more context but still want the reading to feel calm.
Try:
- Where I am / What’s influencing me / What supports me next
- Mind / Body / Spirit
- What I know / What I’m learning / What I’m becoming
How to work with it:
Read the cards like a story. Notice repetition (same suit, same colours, similar symbols). Usually, the message is simpler than we expect.
Awen practice notes (so tarot stays calm)
A few ways to keep tarot gentle and grounded:
- Set a container: light a candle, take three breaths, or set a 5-minute timer
- Ask supportive questions: “What helps?” is often better than “What will happen?”
- Don’t over-read: one clear message is more powerful than ten frantic clarifications
- Close the ritual: shuffle, thank the cards and return to your day
If you ever feel anxious while reading, that’s your cue to soften. Tarot works best when you’re in relationship with yourself, not trying to force certainty
