Awen Life is an online home for modern tarot, palmistry and intuitive practice.
It’s a space for people who are drawn to cards, symbols and old stories but still live in a very current, very human world of emails, bills and busy days.
Here, you won’t find fortune-telling or rigid dogma.You’ll find online tarot teachings, palmistry guidance and intuitive tools that help you know yourself better and move through life with a little more clarity.
Everything is written and taught by Arden Briarwood, with support from trusted collaborators.
What “Awen” Means
Awen is an old word from the Druid and Bardic traditions, often translated as:
The flowing spirit of inspiration.
Sacred breath.
Or simply, the spark behind intuition and creativity.
At Awen Life, Awen is our shorthand for the meeting point between:
Ancient theory – tarot structure, palmistry systems, seasonal cycles, myth and story.
Modern wisdom – your lived experience, therapy, reflection, conversations and choices.
The aim is not to escape real life, but to bring this flowing, intuitive layer into it.

Deeply interested in how these ancient systems meet psychology, embodiment and nervous-system awareness,
More drawn to teaching than to performing readings.
Rather than offering one-to-one readings, Arden focuses on:

Offering frameworks you can adapt, not rules you have to follow.

The crystal side of the Awen Life Shop is shaped in collaboration with Lottie McMillan.
Lottie brings a deep, earth-centred sensibility to the way crystals are chosen and offered. Together, we focus on:

Stones that support grounded intuitive practice rather than quick fixes,
Sourcing that’s considered and as ethical as possible within a complex industry.
When you see crystals in the shop, you’re seeing a blend of Arden’s symbolic lens and Lottie’s practical, body-based sense of what actually supports real people in their modern spiritual practice.
